Every joint replacement has a plastic bearing that can be removed and replaced without disturbing the metals parts fixed to your bones. This allows a new bearing to be placed with a minor surgery compared to the first joint replacement surgery you had.

Yes, Dr. Keating is not currently affiliated with a teaching hospital. He performs the incision, entire surgical approach, and personally implants the joint replacement. Dr. Keating works with a surgical team that helps close the surgical incision with plastic-surgery techniques.

Yes! Dr. Keating and his team see patients until 8pm at the Joliet clinic location on the third Tuesday of every month.

Dr. Keating performs elective joint replacement at Plainfield Surgery Center, Salt Creek Surgery Center in Westmont, Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, St. Joe’s Hospital in Joliet, and the Center for Advanced Joint Replacement in LaGrange. He is on staff to provide orthopedic trauma coverage to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove and Elmhurst Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Keating and his team see patients in the Hinsdale Orthopedics offices located in Naperville, Joliet, and New Lenox. On average, he and his team are at each location one day per week.
